About Linda

Bio
Linda Johnson discovered her love of photography early in life and began working at a photo studio in Walnut Creek CA in 1977. Now a semi-retired photographer living as a snow bird half the year in Sedona AZ and CA the other half. Linda has owned her portrait studio located in Antioch CA since 1987. She offers studio portrait work and Sedona landscape photography. Linda renamed her studio in CA to Studio 510 and she rents it out to other portrait photographers at cost. At this time in her life she offers coaching as an artist advocate and she feels it's important to keep the studio open to the public and the community that supported her career. She feels running the studio is about paying it forward like it was done for her in the beginning. Living in Sedona half the year has provided her the opportunity to enjoy landscape photography and offer fine art metal prints of Sedona to the public of what is know today as “The most beautiful place in America”.
Linda believes the soul of creation begins with inspiration. Linda will share with you her own inspirations to create a unique and personal design for you. She will suggest to you how to personalize your portrait and how to make your portrait become a work of art.
Linda has received numerous State and National Awards for her work including Studio Photographer of the Year. Linda earned her Master of Photography degree in 1999 from Professional Photographers of America and is a past president of the local photography association.
